What to do about all of the price changes?
This year had been very stable, in regards to pricing. That is no longer the case.
There has been a steady rise in raw material costs, as well as increases in transportation. Starting on the first of October, manufacturers are subject to government-mandated tariffs on all imported goods.
This has resulted in price increases being announced by most of our vendors. They are going into effect in early October.
Don't panic.We are doing our best with timely purchasing to delay these increases. We understand a majority of your scheduled work was based on existing costs. The timing is not great for most of you to simply stock up. We will base our pricing on the product on our shelves, not by set manufactures dates.What can you do?
Communication is vital. Please let us know asap, if you have any large projects. We will do our best to help you work through this.
