Landscaping and Garden Trends survey. The survey is based on
responses from users of their website, an up-and-coming visual directory of
the work done by professional local contractors. You can create a
profile for your company on the site for free to receive sales leads.
Here are some highlights of the report:
Top yard challenges homeowners say they want to address in their
upcoming projects: drainage (34%), lack of privacy (27%), water use
efficiency (23%) and too much sun (19%).
What they're looking for in outdoor spaces: Easy to maintain
(80%), easy for the whole family to use (49%), and a place to entertain
(48%).
Top reasons for buying landscape lighting: decor /
ambiance (79%), comfort in outdoor spaces (64%), and safety (52%)
